Your Average Mum’s Breastfeeding Story

National Breastfeeding week 👶🏼🤱🏻🤱🏻

🌿I was really lucky when it came to my breastfeeding journey, my little girl latched straight away and we continued to have quite a positive journey for 4-5 months. Don’t get me wrong it was difficult at times, but I think it fitted my lifestyle well, always out and about, always in a baby carrier, it just worked well.

🌿I actually was not nervous about feeding in public, my mindset was always , this is a very normal part of motherhood and ultimately that’s what I carried on thinking.

🌿After a very tough week around about 4/ half months (looking back now I think she was going through a growth spurt) I decided it was enough, not only did I need a little help with the feeding (not afraid to admit) I genuinely think it was a perfect time , as the weaning journey started about 1-half months later, so transitioned well.

🌿The only product I used was *lanalin cream (The most amazing product) * stock up *stock up *stock up and get yourself some decent nursing bras, I actually got a couple off amazon I can dm you the link if interested.

🌿My advice to new mums would be don’t be put off, it’s one of the most amazing things and, it’s free!!

However happy Mum happy baby, and if it’s not for you that’s ok also.
