Mother’s Day Celebrations 2023

Mother’s Day Checklist: Tea, Scones, Photos, Daffodils and Treat prizes. We did it all!

Our two Mother’s day celebration meet ups were fabulous events. We managed to spoil ourselves with some lovely cream teas and special moments, meet other parents and all the while enjoy the experience with our little ones.

Mummies of Babies

At Winslade Manor for the Mummies of Babies, I loved meeting such a fab group of mummies and chatting all things baby, and all things not baby! Some of the mummies came in groups which is always fun, but I was so impressed that so many of us came without knowing anyone, despite it being really nerve wracking to do so. Everyone was there for a great time and that’s exactly what we had! There was lots of chatting – so much so it took a while to quiet everyone down 😂 so we could find out who were the winners of the beautiful bouquet by @ameliasflowerfarm and the hour long massage by @tayloredbody who both kindly donated the prizes. Check out these gorgeous photos by Laura and what we got up to on the reel on instagram below.

Mummies of Toddlers and Preschoolers

The Friday was at Ullacombe farm, for our Mummies of Toddlers and Preschoolers – a perfect place to visit with little ones. Our private barn was set up beautifully and the little ones were mesmerised by the wonderful potion party by @Gentle Dias. The afternoon tea from Ullacombe farm was delicious and enormous! And then the animals, tractor barn and outdoor play area was great to have an explore after the event. Once again there was lots of chatting and making connections between pouring potions, playing with our kids, and mouthfuls of afternoon tea. @Ameliasflowerfarm donated another beautiful bouquet and the hour long massage by @therapypodexeter who both kindly donated the prizes. Once again, Laura took gorgeous photos of the mummies and children.

We were so lucky that the lovely Laura from The Rose Photography Co was there taking such gorgeous photos too on both days. She kindly gifted one photo to each mummy and any others were at such a great price. I hope you love yours. If you’d like a private photoshoot with Laura then she is kindly offering a Little Devon Discount of 10% off – just quote Little Devon.

Grace from Gentle Dias entertained our little ones brilliantly with her potion party set up: tuff trays for the younger ones and potions for the older ones. Contact her directly if you’d like your own party.

A massive thanks to everyone for coming! Looking forward to the next one! To be the first to hear about it, make sure you are following Little Devon on socials and have signed up to the (infrequent!) newsletter.
