I’m a mum of one and my business began as a hobby when he was born as I needed something for me. As time passed my business grew and developed to where I am now. I now sell on Etsy, Amazon Handmade & And So To Shop. My aim is to create beautiful accessories for nurseries and bedrooms.
September Girl Designs was only created this year as a result of having more time at home and filling all the spaces on my own walls with my wall hangings! Each wooden item is hand-painted with great love and care by me and with many different styles and patterns I’m sure there is something to suit everyone, whether its just to hang on the wall as it is, for nursery decor or for part of a picture/feature wall, the possibilities are endless! Dartmoorbeasties were born 2 years ago as part of an arts council funded community art project in Moretonhampstead. As an entertainment and event artist my larger artworks are an inspiration for the smaller pieces, promoting and celebrating creative play with a ‘do-it-yourself’/street-art ethos for adults and children alike. Whilst these pieces draw on urban underground art and comic-book monsters, they bring this into conversation with local Devon myths of pixies and ‘little people’, reimagining them for the 21st century. These Limited edition prints on 180gsm paper are designed to cope with all colouring mediums and to be rolled out and shared as often as you like.

Hello! I’m an illustration graduate from Plymouth University, and I now work as a freelance illustrator specialising in children’s markets! I have illustrated a series of children’s books, and also sell cards and prints in my online shop (etsy). I’m a committed Christian, I love the outdoors, and anything to do with animals!
Mooselet & Co is a small business selling a range of wall art for nurseries and children’s bedrooms. Based in Ottery St. Mary in Devon, every design is illustrated, printed and packed in house by chief designer Steph. Many of our designs can be personalised including our popular range of initial prints. We absolutely love bright colours, patterns and animals!

Inspired by a spontaneous encounter with a tired bee, we created the Bee Revival Kit. Knowing how important bees are and how dangerously they are in decline, we wanted to do something to help. This is when we began designing a keyring to be readily available for the next time you meet a bee in need. Thanks to our wonderful ‘VIBs’ we launched in July 2019 and our kits have travelled all over the world, raising awareness for the importance of our precious pollinators!
Very quickly after launching we realised it had become a very popular gift to help spread awareness, empowering individuals of all ages to make a difference. We began offering a ‘gift-wrapping’ service to deliver direct to loved ones with personal messages.

Clare Elsom is a children’s author and illustrator. She is the creator of the young fiction series Horace & Harriet, and has illustrated dozens of other popular children’s books. Throughout 2020 Clare has been indulging her obsession with dinosaurs, working on a series of illustrations and content under the hashtag #fringedinosaur, and the resulting artwork is now available in a beautiful, colourful A-Z print. JECO was established in 2017 by Justine, initially producing a small number of handmade children’s clothes which were sold to support fundraising efforts for Force Cancer Charity.
The business has been growing year on year and JECO now offers a larger range of children’s clothes which are ethically produced by a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified manufacturer in India. All the designs are created by Justine using watercolours.

After the birth of my son, Wilf I really struggled to find any colourful, fun and functional clothes for him. So I started to make them! Four years on and I make a range of colourful clothes for children from at my dining table in South Devon. All of the clothes I make are well tested on my own children before I sell them, because if I am not confident in the clothes I make, why should you?

Hello! I am Emily, I am a youth worker by ‘trade’ but have always had a passion for writing, illustration and looking after our beautiful planet and the wildlife that lives here. When I had my daughter in 2018, I felt this would be a good opportunity to write my first Children’s book to help inspire Children to fall in love with the natural world and learn how to protect it. So ‘Hilda’s Forest’ was born! All about a hero hedgehog called Hilda who helps her friends become free from human litter. Throughout the remainder of my maternity leave, I learnt all about self publishing (not an easy job!) and in December 2018, I picked up my very first print run of ‘Hilda’s’ ready to share with friends, family and hopefully a wider audience. I now have three children’s books, the second; ‘Otto’s Ocean’ is also designed to encourage Children to love, respect and protect our planet and the third ‘Betty the Bee, what makes me- ME!’, which I released this summer, is designed to help children and their adults to explore emotions and mindsets- really important at the moment I feel! All of my books (when purchased from my website) are printed sustainably in the UK on FSC certified paper- Hilda and Otto are also printed on recycled paper so they are about as eco as you can get! Indy and the Whale was set up nearly two years ago now, shortly after the birth of my first son, as I struggled to find ethically made clothing in the warm, muted natural tones that appealed to me. We import some of our favourite parent owned brands from around the world, most commonly Australia and New Zealand and place them in our curated collection of baby and children’s pieces inspired by natural tones and fabrics. We mostly provide clothing from newborn to 5 years but have started also stocking bowl and spoon sets and decor items too, and would love to branch into toys and books soon.

My name is Tracy, and I founded Little Bay in 2019 at the kitchen table of our family home in Devon, England. My aim is to create beautiful products that are full of colour to brighten your day and make you smile. All my items are handmade by me with love, care and attention to detail.
I value the environment and try to reduce my impact on it as much as possible. All the packaging I use is plastic free, I source the majority of my supplies locally from two amazing fabric shops within walking distance of my home and my sewing machine and iron are powered by the solar panels on our roof. These are all small things I know but it’s often the small things that are so important.
