They say:

A workout class for mums where they can bring their little person/people with them. Think workout class meets baby club!

Classes are 45 minutes and focus on mums working out whilst their little ones sleep/chill/ play/watch. I have lots of toys and equipment that can be used by your little one during the class, but you are also welcome to bring anything that you feel will help them to have a lovely time. For example car seats, bouncer chairs, play mats, buggies.

Class structure:

We start with a 5 minute mobility warm up. It’s slow and fairly stationary. Then we have 5 minutes with a little band around our legs and activate our glutes. We then have 20 minutes where we all work through a circuit together. We repeat it 2 times. The moves are performed slowly and take into consideration factors like weak pelvic floor. We all work through the same moves but at different levels of difficulty. Each move has 3 levels of difficulty- the standard version, the easier version and the harder version. Each mum can choose their difficulty level and I will advise. My aim is to help everyone progress but to do it in a very steady way. So for example there is no jumping unless you are over 6 months post partum. We then have a couple of minutes where we all work through some ab moves that repair the area. So no sit ups. Finally to warm down we do a a few moves which form a super easy little dance number! And then some stretches.

My name is Melissa and I an a qualified level 3 personal trainer with a specialism in pre and post natal exercise. I am a military wife as my husband is in the Royal Marines. I have 2 young daughters. I was a secondary school teacher for almost 9 years before training to become a personal trainer.
