We’re getting giddy with excitement at the thought of fireworks – there’s something fascinating and magical about them that gets me all nostalgic and warm inside (perhaps it’s the copious amounts of mulled cider, or hot chocolate that is consumed at the same time!) Whatever it is, the kids love them and so if you want to know where to go for fantastic displays near Exeter, Devon, then scroll down for lots of ‘ohhhhhh’ and ‘ahhhhhh’ moments.

Crealy
Saturday 27th October – 7pm & Sunday 28th October – 6pm
Firework Extravaganza – Join us as we light up the skies above Crealy
Visit Crealy for an amazing day out with all of our spooktacular half term events taking place before watching our stunning Firework Extravaganza. During the display, we will be lighting up the sky above Crealy with our amazing fireworks.
Selected rides will be open late and we will light up the skies from 7:00pm on Saturday night and 6:00pm on the Sunday.

Exeter Golf and Country Club

Fireworks Night is the biggest event of the year at Exeter Golf and Country Club.
Our fireworks display 2017 was bigger and better than ever with a spectacular firework show to music themed ‘Through the Decades’ by Sonic Fireworks – see the drone video here.
As well as a huge fireworks display, there’s a family Halloween fancy dress disco, a ride for young children and trampoline, doughnuts van, barbecue, Kenniford Farm hog roast, mulled wine and cocktail vans plus our bars open until late. It’s a fabulous event for all the family.
Club closes at 4pm.

Double Locks

Fireworks start anytime between 7:30 and 8:15.
The best and biggest bonfire around with an amazing firework display! Mulled wine and cider, BBQ’s and bars and music from Dirty Money Band. What a perfect way to spend Guy Fawkes night, here at the Locks!
Part of this night is dedicated towards raising money and awareness for two brilliant charities, both nationwide and local. A donation from each ticket sold will be contributed to the Crohn’s & Colitis UK charity, a fantastic cause supporting those fighting inflammatory bowel disease.
In addition, “Luna’s Lover’s” will be there on the night selling sparklers, of which all sales will be donated to Luna’s Fund, a local cause set up to raise awareness of neonatal stillbirths and support parents of those in need. ??✨

Topsham Rugby Club

One of the best displays in the South West, Topsham RFC offer a warm and friendly welcome to all!
Gate open at 5 pm, the club will be serving a large range of delicious hot food and drinks, including Burgers and Hotdogs from The Butchers at Darts Farm. Homemade Curry, Chilli, and Soup, fresh from the clubhouse kitchen.
A breathtaking and beautiful Professional Firework Displays from Sonic Fireworks will take place shortly after at 7.30 pm
Live Band ‘King Shambles’ will be playing in the main hall from 8pm.
This is Topsham RFC’s biggest fundraising event of the year, proceeds go a long way to maintaining the clubhouse and grounds, which we believe to be a great asset to the community.
For Safety Reasons, The Use Of Sparklers On The Field Is Not permitted.

Exeter Roundtable’s Annual Charity Firework Display at Westpoint
Monday 5th November – 7:30pm (Gates open at 5:30pm and close at 7:30pm)
Exeter Round Table organise Exeter’s biggest and best fireworks display with this being their 38th annual event.
As well as the “Largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon” being put on by the masters from Sonic Fireworks, there is also a large fair with many thrilling rides, a range of food and drink stalls and ample free parking.
Westpoint work in close conjunction with Exeter Round Table and are generous in donating their facilities for free. The event is run on a volunteer basis with all profits being donated to local charities. In the last two years more than £50,000 has been raised for local charities from the event.
Since moving to Westpoint, Round Table has seen the event grow from strength to strength. Westpoint has proven to be a perfect venue, being situated just a few minutes off the M5 and only 10 or so minutes from central Exeter. The vast Westpoint site has meant the number of fairground rides has grown considerably in size with some fabulous fun and breathtaking rides!
Mark Johnstone , event organiser from Round Table said “This year the chosen theme is Mystical and Magical, expect to see the sky lit up with some well known tunes that will transport you into another world. We couldn’t be happier with the success of the event over the last few years and we are looking forward to another super year this year”
Sparklers are not permitted at this event. The fun fair and the food and drink stalls will remain open until 9pm.
Parking and buses

There will again be an independent car/taxi pick up and drop off zone from the bus drop off area.
Stagecoach are offering a special return fare of £2 per person from St David’s Station, City Centre (Cheeke Street) and Sowton Park & Ride. 9W buses will be running every 15-20 minutes from St David’s Station 5.00pm – 6.25pm, from Cheeke Street 5.10pm – 7.00pm and from Sowton Park & Ride 5.35pm – 7.10pm, returning from Westpoint at regular intervals from 8.00pm until 9.20pm. These buses have proved incredibly popular in past years as the buses have priority entry and exit from Westpoint.
Gates open at 5.30pm and be sure to plan to arrive in advance as they will be closed to all at 7:30. (No entry to cars after 7:20pm)
