Festivals with the family are an enormous amount of fun (and exhaustion obviously!). But those memories of enjoying the simple crafts together, the exciting new opportunities, the dancing together, the children falling asleep in my arms while enjoying live music… those are the memories I’ll remember. Here’s some fab festivals in Devon this summer. We’re not ready to camp away yet so these are perfect for us to be able to head to our own bed at night!

24 – 27th August: Nature Valley Gone Wild Festival, Powderham Castle, Discount code: LittleDevon10 for 10% discount on tickets. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for the past two years and plan to go this year too. What I really love about Gone Wild festival is that it is completely geared up for families. It’s a super relaxed, fun atmosphere and not crowded. But it’s not just for children – its a chance to have fun as a family together. All too often we set up activities or play dates or fun things for the kids to do – but how often do we join in too? Gone Wild Festival is an opportunity to have adrenaline-filled (if you want to), adventurous fun together like climbing or abseiling one minute (age 5 min), followed by a child-friendly yoga class the next. Absolutely LOVE IT! The ultimate family weekend – a long weekend of camping, adventure, wellness and dancing! Together we danced, laughed, explored, adventured & made memories we will cherish forever. Day tickets and weekend camping tickets.
