October Half Term - Create a Knitted wire "Boo" Sign

Join us this half term for some spooky fun in the studio on Saturday 29th October, 10am – 12pm.

We will have another resident artist coming to teach a workshop. This time it is Jenny from Jenny Rew Designs who will be creating knitted wire “Boo” signs with the children.

As part of the workshop attendees will learn how to bend wire into “Boo” letters and then thread pre-knitted wool onto their wire, in a choice of black or orange. Please select your preference at check-out. Please note attendees will not be able to change this at a later date as it is prepared beforehand.

If time permits at the end, attendees will have the opportunity to use one of the French knitting machines to have a go at creating their own knitted wool and/or bending some wire into another spooky shape!

Please note due to the fiddly-ness of the crafting involved, this workshop is suggested for age 7+.

All materials and equipment are supplied for the workshop and the attendees should take home a finished “Boo” sign by the end.
